2007/6/13 Help wanted ...OK, needed. I cannot seem to get music playing on my media player. WHY?!
Thank You in advance for your help with this matter. 2007/6/11 Boob TubeI think I'm beginning to understand why TV is referred to as "The Boob Tube". Boy, I hope you guys have heard that one before. Anyway, I have a long list of shows that I watch on a regular basis, some of which are the ever popular "reality" tv shows. Well now that American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and Survivor are finished I'm at a loss. The weather is finally nice and I'm concerned about my tv line up. The good news is that I have found some new shows. CBS has this new Pirate show on, kind of like Survivor but on a boat, so far so good. Food Network is looking for their new star, I love almost all the Food Network shows. While these shows are keeping me entertained, I am patiently waiting for my all time favorite ...Big Brother! That's right, CBS is bringing Big Brother back again for it's 8th season. WOO HOO! I can't get enough of this show, I've even gone as far as to sign up for the 24/7 live feeds. Some may say it's a sickness but I like it, I get sucked right in. OK, maybe I do need some help but I'm not alone, there are many of you out there just like me ...come on ...admit it! 2007/6/8 Headline of the weekMan blames health drink for unwanted erection29-year-old claims Boost Plus caused condition that required surgery
Updated: 12:39 p.m. ET June 6, 2007 NEW YORK - A man has sued the maker of the health drink Boost Plus, claiming the vitamin-enriched beverage gave him an erection that would not subside and caused him to be hospitalized. The lawsuit filed by Christopher Woods of New York said he bought the nutrition beverage made by the pharmaceutical company Novartis AG at a drugstore on June 5, 2004, and drank it. Woods’ court papers say he woke up the next morning “with an erection that would not subside” and sought treatment that day for the condition, called severe priapism. They say Woods, 29, underwent surgery for implantation of a Winter shunt, which moves blood from one area to another. The lawsuit, filed late Monday, says Woods later had problems that required a hospital visit and penile artery embolization, a way of closing blood vessels. Closing off some blood flow prevents engorgement and lessens the likelihood of an erection. Woods’ lawsuit, which seeks unspecified damages, names Novartis Consumer Health Inc. as a defendant. A spokeswoman for the company, Brandi Robinson, said Tuesday the company was aware of the lawsuit but does not comment on pending litigation. Woods’ lawyer did not return telephone calls for comment Tuesday. Novartis’ Boost Plus Web site describes the drink as “a great tasting, high calorie, nutritionally complete oral supplement for people who require extra energy and protein in a limited volume,” in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.
